Okay, let's be real. Between finding a missing sneaker, refereeing a sibling squabble over the last fruit snack, and trying to write a coherent sentence for my next book, my inbox can be a wild place. But seeing your submission for Project 100 pop up? That was the absolute best part of my day.

Thank you, truly. As a mom of two here in Houston, I know that life is a beautiful, demanding adventure. We’re so busy living the story that we rarely get a second to actually capture it (unless it’s a blurry photo of the mess our kids just made). I’ll be pouring a very large cup of Carob (or let's be honest, it's after 5 PM somewhere) and personally reading every single submission. Because I’m a one-woman show with two tiny, very demanding bosses, this part takes a little time.
